I just got word, that for us to get the price that we are, that we have to order at least ten at a time now.
I just got word, that for us to get the price that we are, that we have to order at least ten at a time now.

McMillan Group Buy For Rear-Grip Benchrest Stocks

All Barrel Channels will be for a 1.250 Straight.
If, your barrel is a lighter contour, then it just gives that much more room for your barrel to breathe/cool quicker.

All Stocks Will Be Inletted For Straight Bolts.
May take some minor fitting for the dogleg bolt handle on the single-shot XP-100.
All stocks will be inletted for a safety.

All stocks will be Solid Fill

The cut-out is for the Rem. ADL trigger guard.

NO Sling Swivel set-up on the forend.
You can easily add that later or even a picatinny rail, if that is what you want.

We are going to approach this group buy in terms of four different batches of stocks or inlets.

Color combinations, can be just like the center grips or rifle stock

Cost for all of the Rear-Grip Benchrest stocks is $390 shipped to your door in the lower 48 states. Alaska and Hawaii costs will be more.

Stocks with carbon finishes; there will be an additional $55.00 charge for the graphite (edge tech) outer shell.

If you want to get one or more stocks on the waiting list, you will need to email me at ernieemily@yahoo.com
I will need your name, address for Fed-Ex, Phone #, and a $100 deposit for each stock.
I will also need the color combination you want on your stock.
I will need to know which action.
Please make clear distinction whether it is the single shot XP-100 or the XP-100R.
With the 700 SA, tell me if it is RH/RP or LH/RP

I have only had non-payment on two of the center-grip stocks, but these rear-grip BR stock orders are going to unique, with three different actions, and would be harder to move if someone does not honor their word. Hence the reason for the $100 deposit.

FOR DEPOSITS and PAYMENTS: I accept US Funds via Bank Check, Postal Money Order or Personal Check in my name. Pay-Pal is an option as well (Friends & Family).
Do not click on “Pay For Goods and Services,” if you intend to use the Friends and Family feature.
If, your checking account is connected to your PayPal account there should be no surcharge.
IF, your PayPal account is connected to/paying from a credit/debit card add 4%.
My email address is my PayPal address: ernieemily@yahoo.com

Batch Two: The XP-100R/Model 7 Action

Batch Three: The 700 Short Action (Right Bolt/Right Port)

Batch Four: 700 Short Action with Left Bolt/Left Port

I just got word, that for us to get the price that we are, that we have to order at least ten at a time now.

Eric Wallace and Chuck McIntosh made the aluminum tracks for the front and the back. Erick made the rear one and Chuck made the front one.
part of the bottom of the hatchet grip was cut off and then he Used epoxy and bolts or screws attach it on both front and back.

Yes, But I have been told, I need to get ten, to submit an order.
You would be #1, if you get on the list.

I am going to be opening up a group buy for the their field pistol stock too.
Basically the stock that was on the XP-100R.
I will need to get 10 of those two to submit a order.

Just like the XP-100R stock, so right handed.
You would have to grind or sand it off, like I have had done in past.
Being a lefty, it does not excite me, but it is what is available.

Do they require ten of each style? Are the field stocks for the xp-100 or the repeater?

I am sure they told you the stocks were right hand, but I have two for the repeater that are for use with either hand. I bought them from a man in Alaska who told me they were made for Remington Custom Shop guns. They do have McMillan stamped in the barrel channel.
If we commit to get a stock, when will we send down payment?

My reargrip came between 12 & 13 mos. I was one of the first/early buyers. Fit seemed very good, as McMillan suggested I tried without bedding, noticing that the fit was better then good as I looked closer & test-fitted. One range trip so far, stock tracked as well as the Russo it replaced.

But that Hatchet grip bottom does take a little getting used to. (rear bag chg? or cut off?)
Put about 80 rounds thru her, & shot well, I'm happy.

I'm needing a stock for a 700 action and just run across this thread and was wondering if this group buy is still going on and if it is what the wait time might be.
Thanks,Billy

We have to have at least 10 of these BR stocks for me to make a order.
The interest/need is not enough to date-Sorry.

Anybody wouldn't possibly have one of these stocks to fit Remington 700 rb/rp they'd be interested in selling?
Thanks,Billy
