Anyone have any experience with Kimber rifles. Thinking about a Hunter model in 30-06.

I bought a Kimber hunter last year in 257 Roberts. I love it. It will shoot half inch groups all day with 110 grain accubonds.

My Hunter in 6.5 Creedmoor did not want to shoot. However, the last time out, it posted two groups that were MOA or smaller. One was with factory, the other with handloads. Very encouraging. I still have less than 100 rounds through it, so I believe it took a bit to get her going.

I have the Montana in 7-08. It's sub MOA with 160 Partitions and practically no load development. Before next season I'll see if I can find a load it likes better, but I'd be happy with it as is.

Fit and finish is great. Trigger is awesome. Recoil pad makes it easy to shoot. Weighs just over 5lbs with a Leupold 3-9 scope.

I like it enough I'll probably send it out to be slicked up a bit, bolt fluted, knob skeletonized, comp attached, all that.
