Went to range today, finally no rain
Traveled to a new range, home range still closed to Covid
Took my TC in 38 Special

Tried a new load
25 shot group at 50 Yards with 7gr HS6 and a Xtreme 158gr HP

Shot great, but Unique is still the best powder I have tested

Then came another try with my Freedom Arms

Tried 12gr 2400 with a 158gr Hornaday XTP bullet
25 Shots at 50 yards

Ok, but not great, alot of vertical
This gun still just jumps out of the rest, not a very heavy pistol about 6 Lbs
Had a fun day, just nice to get out with all the lock downs in CA
Nice to find a range open
Six weeks till I retire, hopefully I will have time to play more

Any day at a range is a good day!
It was wet cold and snowing here in Kentucky yesterday. I picked up a 300 Whisper barrel from a member and have been wanting to try it out. I had 20 rounds loaded up to try so I got out a pop up blind and set it up. Put the buddy heater in there and my hunting chair and shooting sticks. Got to put some rounds thru the new barrel and some shooting practice in hunting position.
