Had the 3 grand kids over the weekend, Hunter is 8, Mia is 9 and Mia's brother Nicholas is 12. Had an AR15 converted to 22 RF and Ruger M2 threaded for a suppressor. Used suppressors on both guns and the AR has a Binary trigger, didn't know if it would work in binary with the conversion but it does to my surprise. Between the 3 they shot 400 rounds, after 300 rounds I introduced them to the binary trigger and the next 100 rounds didn't last long after that. Hunter shot it first and had the biggest grin on him you wouldn't believe, he told the other 2 he was shooting a machine gun. Up until this point he has only shot a single shot Chipmunk a few times, he also loved shooting the Ruger as well Mia liked it best also, Mia's mom let her shoot her 32 a few times when my son and Daughter-in-law had them out shooting. At 10 yards Mia could keep her shots inside a 5" circle standing even her brother couldn't shoot as good. But what bought the big grins to all 3 was the binary trigger on the AR. Another good day shooting especially with the Grand kids and I didn't even fire a round.



They even loaded the magazines and Mia was better than the other 2 surprise.+

Very cool, glad to read u all had such a good time! Need more to get their kids/ grandkids involved in shooting. Public school instills "guns are bad" in them and most kids have no reason to object. Sounds like those 3 will be the exception when they hit college! Nice going Al!

It's always a great time when you can get the kids out shooting, hunting,or fishing. Glad everyone enjoyed the range time.

Well done Al! The only way to keep or sport alive and the only way for them to learn is for a mentor to teach them.The big smiles were your pay .
