We had a really good time, for those of us that was at the WY-SHOT first it was a fun wide open week! I was glad to get back to work the next week cause I needed the rest
Next year is going to be the 10th anniversary of the Sundance shoot, everybody needs to plan on coming to help make it Rich's best shoot ever.
Make plans for the WY-SHOT too, this shoot is nothing but fun!!!! Ernie is going to open it up to 30 shooters for 2016 and except he will have to let a few more than that in!
Something I learned this year was bring more ammo than you plan to shoot, then bring your reloading components and dies so you can reload once your out of ammo!

Thanks for posting the pics. Going under the knife kept me sidelined. Would have liked to meet the new shooters and BE with the returnees. I willfully get the results from Rich and get them posted.

As mentioned above, next year will be the tenth anniversary of the match. I would like to see some of past participants return for this match. Are you listening Mike, Riley, Ernie, Steve, Vern, Patrick, Becky, Erik, Ray, and Ray!

Tentatively the match is scheduled for June 16-18, 2016. PLEASE, PLEASE, PREREGISTER as it makes it difficult to know how many targets to have, and how much food to prepare for the Barbie.

Gary, speaking of barbecue the potato salad was the best I have ever had. Do you have any idea who I might be able to con or sweet talk out of the recipe? Everything was delicious!!!!! Thanks to everyone that prepared the food.

Think it is a Gre-Tan 284 Winchester??????

Ernie is is a 7 wsm. McMillan stock, Holland radial brake, don't remember the make of the barrel but Dan was thinking about selling it, after that group now he's not sure.

Sorry guys I had it all written up this morning and just had fits with my phone.
The XP is Dan Meserves it is a 7WSM with a Shilen 9 twist I believe.We were just playing around on Saturday morning during the sight in period it was pretty still.
I took a center hold and from the cold barrel we were a little high so Dan said chase that mark with 2 more.
Richard Mertz said the group measured 1" center to center we thought it was closer to 1.25"
I can't for the life of me understand how Dan could even think of selling this SP
I must say that the Holland QD brake makes that SP behave like a pussy cat,it makes it possible for an average shooter like me to shoot nice groups,of course Dans load work up with the 168 Bergers and H4831 was really the key ingredient.

I think I might just do that. Been a while since I have been back to Wyoming and seen everyone. Of course in a year and a half when I retire I can become a fixture. Now that would be fun.
