Guys can a Striker's bolt head be changed from magnum to Hornet size? Steve | ||

Steve,If you can find a Hornet head your lucky. I was just looking at going to a WSSM case. I think the only thing may be a firing pin issue, diameter. Good luck getting it to feed. Putting the new bolt heads onto the strikers I have had to do some minor machine work to the bolt head. | |||

Thks guys--checked and the rim size is just a bit smaller than 223, but Hornet rim looks like it'll work with 223 bolt head at least it does fit and doesn't slip off the bolt. Not going to hastle with the magazine--just going to stick a follower in it for single shot--it's just going to be a prairie dogger anyway. Steve | |||
