Whole lotta XPs coming out of Newcastle.
Good looking XP there ...
Would you care to share some specs?
Burned midnight oil several nights after working on customers stuff and finished this up this morning. This is my 284 win.
17” Brux 1-9. Holland. Leupold vx 5.
Will that one be making an appearance at WY-SHOT?
Blind squirrel finds a nut every once in a while. 3 shots. Stuffed load. 162 sst. 284 win. This message has been edited. Last edited by: Hoggin,
Thats a nice rig what powder you shooting , I had good luck with RL 17 and 168 Bergers.
Don't know about blind squirrels, but you seem to find that sort of precision a bit more often than "once in a while"!
Another well done piece from your shop.
Another great looking XP Congrats!!!!

Chris i'm curious to your thought process behind the bolt handle. Does it handle/torque smoothly when opening and closing? Not bashing it in anyway just different than anything I've ever seen and wondering how it feels/works?
Nice pistol and great shooting as always.
Someone else made the bolt long time ago.
Works but not functional. Some day I’ll seitch it out
Very nice. Love those 284's. Mine shoots like that with H4831SC and 150grn Accubonds. The wood and grain is fantastic.
You did a great job and should serve you well.
: Don't make old people mad. We don't like being old in the first place, so it doesn't take much to tick us off.
Looks good and can't ask for a better shooter than that!
With the Holland brake are you able to use your rifle scope with a full field of view, or do you still need to pull back before firing?
Also what is the barrel profile?
It moves about 1/2” back....that’s it
