Just happen to find this for sale and the seller said no one had inquired. Duh, they must have not known what an XP for sale was. HAH XP 100 Center grip, made in 1979 according the serial number. Custom stock with great paint job, not sure who the maker was on the stock. Metal trigger guard. Great Trigger, safety removed. I have an extra and it will be installed before first range session. Factory 7BR rechambered to 7-08. It came with a scope rail, Burris rings and an older long Burris Gloss 2x7 scope and a custom walnut thumbhole stock that has not been fitted yet. Might try to shoot it this weekend if I get the safety in. Mike

One question. What am I missing - why do you need a safetyto shoot a single shot pistol? I have six single shot rifles and pistols with nary a safety. If you are not ready to shoot - do not load.

I'm sure that works fine for paper, but when hunting it is convenient to have one in the hole ready to go.

Mike,
Nice pickup, I have one of those stocks and it is extremely light. Opening it up for the safety was pretty tricky as the material got really thin. Is this one staying a 7mmBR or do you have other plans?

Rick, I talked with Steve Roe of Apache Machine Monday. I'm thinking .243 with 100 or 105 grn bullets. Bolt release, install safety and check trigger pull. Kreiger barrel, 15", 1.25 at the action 3" out then taper to about .800 with Side discharge break with Cerekote flat black finish and one of Aaron's stocks. I bought this stock when he first started making them so I would have one when I found an action. Mike
