Who is going pd shooting this year?
Weather knocked me out today, but getting a number of XP's and a G-2 ready for pd season.
Some cartridges that will be used this year: 221 Fireball AI, 22-250, 223, 22 Creed, 20 BR, 204 Ruger, 20 Vartarg, 17 Mach IV, 6x45, 6x47, 6 BR, 6XC, and 6 Creed.
Getting excited.

Anyone else doing any doggin or rock-chuck shooting this year?
If, so what do you plan to use?

Headed to S.D. in two weeks. I’ll be taking XP in 223AI, Savage target action 243 with Russo pistol stock and FA .22. Might also take my 308 XP

Update on my upcoming pd hunt that's now <2 wks off. I spoke w/ my guide last week for the first time in a while. Oddly, he'd not responded to emails and texts I'd recently sent. Turns out he's been in the hospital for 60 days Eek w/ an illness of the pancreas (sounds like pancreatitis). Obviously, he won't be able to make the hunt. He was kind enough to give me the name and number of one of the landowners who's land he hunts on. I talked to the landowner the next day and he said "come on." thumbup Hopefully I've been able to salvage the hunt. I'll call the guide this week and see if he'll give me some additional names of landowners just in case. I'd planned on a hunt at the Kiowa National Grass Lands in June, but got a bad report from them that I'll post separately.

Good luck and good hunting.
