Looking for advice I am scheming during shelter in place Since I have one sitting in the junk drawer Has anyone ever re barreled one of these? Is it worth the effort, can not find any info saying removing a pinned and pressed barrels? Am I starting down a rabbit hole? Thx DAN | ||

I have had a few done, new barrels are threaded. Worth it , all depends on who does the work and what barrel you decide to go with . They have a nice place. Had a couple of visits with them. The shop is only about 30 min. from where I live. I have been thinking about having them re-barrel an XP100 I bought a few years back to a 6BR. It is a 7-08 now, like new but I have two 7-08's now that I have been shooting for some time.
