I would go 1:8 on all. This will be debated; but you really can't over spin a bullet in these calibers. You would like the option to use the long for caliber bullets. 1:8, or greater. Faster would be better but harder to find = more expensive. | |||

300BLK, the slowest twist I'd go is 1-7 and I prefer 1-6. 1-8 isn't fast enuf for the real heavy weights, from personal experience. If your wanting to shoot heavies in the 223, I'd also opt for 1-7 at the slowest. If you going 69gr and lighter, you can go with a 1-8.
