Cody, what are the brass colored bullets? weight? Load? I loaded up 150 rounds for my 45-70 a couple of weeks ago and may try to make time to shoot it this weekend. Mine is a rifle and I have heard shooting it can be painful....of course the guys that have shot these could be whimps too. Worse case scenario is I ship it to Mike and have him turn it into a 30aint....looked like a puppy dog in the video. Nice shooting, Mike. Received this baby Wednesday and I AM ON CLOUD 9!!!! She is SO SWEET! Mike did one heck of a job on this build. Load development is underway now and after discussing some things with Mike, I might go ahead and set her up as a rear-grip to mimic my 308 SP's. We are going to play around with some "options" and see what direction we go in, but regardless she is one sweet specialty pistol. Form follows function IMHO.... She won't perform in the situations I will put her in as is.... Once done she will.... For me, my 700 308 SP IS ABSOLUTELY PERFECT... I can shoot her from all angles, from standing, and from less than perfect rests. I'm a hunter and not a target shooter. She has to do what I need her to when I need it or she won't see daylight. If she as going to be a rig that saw 90% of her shots from a shooting bench, then yes...she would be perfect as is.... She won't see 5% from a bench with me. She will be leaned on tree limbs, shot while standing, fired from truck windows, and quad handlebars.... 300 grain Lehigh Defense match solid over 50 grains of Reloader 7 in R-P nickel brass gave me the best accuracy and following speeds: 1848 1877 1864 1861 1860 I'm VERY happy with that speed and consistency.  I stared at that black squiggle and turned my head around several directions thinking you had added a painted or cerekoted image. I couldn't make out what it was. Finally I went thru the other photos to figure it out.  Duh!!She is gonna be a sweet shooter. Shot my 45-70 a couple weeks ago. Both loads I have are puppy dog loads, but they sure make the debris fly when that bullet hits the bank. Hog thumper for sure. The weekend is here....go find a hog.... VERY HAPPY this morning!!! Did some loading up test rounds yesterday and hit the range today. The Lehigh 300 gr solids over 52 grains of Reloader 7 yielded the best accuracy as well as the most consistent FPS range at an average of 1970... Gonna go with that. Shot just a hair over a half inch group with that. Will get some more loaded now that I have a load figured out and see what she can group and how she does on a hog. SO PUMPED!!! LOVE THIS GUN!!!
