Savage Striker rear bolt baffle

I recently picked up a Striker in 7mm-08 and when I brought it home I realized it's missing the rear baffle on the bolt, the one near the bolt handle. Is there any extreme negatives to using it without? Also, do I need a left handed one to replace it? Any idea where I could find one?
