Got my first Striker
I bought this off of GunBroker. I am a Savage fan because I can change the caliber with out having to change the whole bolt. It is a 223 and shoots as good as I can shoot any rifle, butI bought it to change it to a 20 Vartarg. I want to keep it light weight and maybe install a removable brake. I need to buy some new rings and bases for it. I like the Burris signature rings and Weaver style bases. I am also thinking I might want to change the stock. Since I am changing the barrel the one in the picture is for sale or trade in the classifieds.
Thanks, Dave

You'll like the vartarg in a SP. 40xMike has a couple of them. They are tack drivers. I've got a few .20's in sp's and really like them. Don't have a vartarg yet though.

Nice!
You will love the 20 Vartarg Big Grin Like Aaron mentioned, they are scary accurate, and a lot of fun too shoot!

Congrats on your find!

Weaver rings are time tested, but are also known for their ability to mar the scope tube if you are not careful. My 22/250 Striker has Burris Signature rings with an EGW base. My 300 WSM Striker has Burris Signature rings with Burris Dual Dovetail Bases. Both are rock solid.

Nice, congratulations!

I've wanted a Striker for awhile, other things always pop up ha-ha.
