Looking for advise, I have a xp 100 chambered in 450 Bushmaster. It has a Holland brake on it now. It just looks to large on pistol and it was not install properly by Jeremy England, its not in time. It also has trigger issue, so I was sending to Bayside for tune up. Figured I would put new brake on it while it was there. I've been told muzzle brakes on straight wall cartridges are not as effective, Threads are 3/4×24 Thanks. J. ![]()

A harrel will get you about as much recoil reduction on that as your going to get on a big bore. Brake effectiveness increases as bore size goes down and gas increases.
