Striker with a brake 260 Remington
I have a Ross brake on it
Radial I believe , with all bears do you feel the concision from firing.

You're going to get concussion off of any brake. Some worse than others for sure.

I have just had a Ross 4 port brake put on my 260 Remington XP100. With only 10 rounds fired after the brake installation I really haven't noticed it being bad.

a rifle at 26" barrel.

You definitely do NOT want to fire it without good ear protection .
