I ran across a XP100 pistol with a stainless action. Did Remington ever offer a stainless action or is this one just plated?

No Remington did not make any Stainless Steel XP actions, that action is chromed.

Are you certain that it is not an M7 or M700 action in a pistol stock? Otherwise it isn’t a SS XP-100. Well, it wouldn’t be either way, would it?

There terrible pictures but I believe it's just a action that has had all the bluing removed and polished. As stated they have never been produced in stainless.

There are no factory stainless XP 100's. Not even XP 100R's. But.... Some are "coated"; not factory. Ever on any of them, documented. EVEN the cutom shop.
