Does anyone KNOW the twist on a 22-250 Striker? 1st gen. I keep measuring and getting ~ 1:12, but I think it's slower. Thanks; joe b.

If it's a factory barrel it's most likely 1-12" and as you state you keep measuring and get 1-12".

12 sounds right to me.

Well you have the barrel. If you were closer I'd be happy to come measure it for you

My striker is a 1:14 according to the savage booklet that came with it.....just not sure what gen mine is or how to tell.

Thank you for the 14" twist mentiion in your manual. The Striker has a 14" long barrel, and with the chamber, it is difficult to measure the twist. My M10 barrels measure 12" twist and stabilize a .89" long cast bullet. The Striker will NOT stabilize that bullet. I thought the Striker twist was slower than 12" even with my difficult/fuzzy measurements. Your response clears this up. Would you send me a copy of the page from your manual, I don't have a manual. Thanks a ot; joe b.
