![]() Just picked this up in 270REN and it really needs to be a 17 Hornet. I have learned that the later BF's from EABCO have the barrels glued in, anybody know if Bert glued his in also? Any 17 Hornet Redding dies for sale out there? Any 17 caliber barrel blanks? Thanx, Pat

Even if it is....heating the barrel with a torch should fix that

No idea. I have two, one is about the age of that one and the other was built in the late 80' or early 90's. MGM/Virgin Valley rebarreled the newer on to 7US. They may know for sure. You might have a look at Green Mountain. A friend has used them for 17's and 20's with excellent results. Call EABCO with serial number and ask, they will be able to help you out . I have a few BF’s and know Eben well, have never heard anything about “glued barrels “ ???? Others have had them rebarreled and never mentioned it . First I’ve ever heard that ... Good luck, post your findings back IHMSA Industry Director IHMSA Region 5 Director Minnesota State IHMSA Director IHMSA 39199Life NRA life Member
