After a long wait I finally got it xp100 in 338 wsm
15 inch Lilja barrel with arrester brake =16 1/4 long
All bedded in McMillan stock that has to be painted
Still waiting on dies will try to post pictures tonight.
I have reloading info from Kirby with RL 15 powder as well as two other members here using RL15 and h4350, RL19. I'm also looking at ww760.
Anyone with reloading info on 338wsm would be great, going to shoot 180-200gn bullets, going to top it with 3-12 Burris.
My go to load on the 338WSM is H4350 and the 200 grain Accubond. I started at 67 grains and worked up the load from there.

Just curious about performance from the magnum cases (powder burn and efficiency) in the shorter barrels? I've got an extra XP action that I eventually have to decide on a build. Please educate me!
Thanks tgp for the info, springer222, all the reloading info I have from 4 different people with a 15 inch barrel are saying I should be able to get
2800-2850 with 180gn bullets and 2700+ with 200 grainers for now I will stick with that weight bullet for deer and super ground hogs
I get 2700 with 225gr accubonds in my 35WSM using Varget. Got a LOT more speed with IMR4350 but the accuracy wasn't there in my barrel.
Accurate 2015 and 2520 are good powders for the 35 Calibers. A-2015 is the best performer in my 350 Rem. Mag., or perhaps a different flavor of 4350 would be better. A-4350 is the accuracy champ in my 358 Norma Magnum.
