I had purchased a used Xp some time ago and thought i would take a couple shots...low behold, after the first shot i could not work the safety full forward...
After disassembly i found that the pin that connects the linkage arm forward to the trigger mechanism was moving over into the path of the safety lever.
What i found was someones bright idea was to use a finishing nail with the head on the safety side and then bending the other end to keep it in place.
I took apart some my other XP's and found a pin that on one side was end punched holding it in place.
Here is picture of the pin on one of the XP's that work ok..
Is their a pin that is an upgrade or a replacement that fits correctly...?

Rear linkage pin. Should be able to get one from Numrich Arms also. Part #76970.
