223 “dog pile”
Both of these are 15.5” 223. Both are engraved with a pdog and “dog pile” laugh

The laminated stock is made by Jim Rockwell

The hardwood is by Emma creek.

Specs for the Emma creek gun. Green Mtn, harrel brake, model 7 action, Egw base, rifle basics trigger. And all the usual work over on the build. Oversized bolt knob.

Laminated stock specs. Bartline, Holland brake, Egw base, worked over factory trigger, and all the usual workover.

Both test fired with factory hornady ammo.

Just pics from various stages during finishing. I don’t have any good pics of Jim’s stock on my phone.

Both are only about 80-90% finished so we could get them to WYSHOT.

The walnut stock. We're can I get one ?
I recently acquired a Sako 461 A1 Vixen single shot bolt action pistol rear grip that came with a synthetic stock that I want to replace with some fancy wood.

The bolt rig with the Jim Rockwell laminated stock, and the top target, is from the XP-100R/Model 7 (Non-Designated action) that Chris built for me.
The ammo is Hornady's match, using the 73 grain ELD-M bullet.
It will be at WY-SHOT for folks to give it a run, if interested.
Thanks Jim for a great stock!
Thanks Chris for a great build!
