Have you shot that off the tri-pod yet? If so, what kind of accuracy? Ernie (xphunter) "The Un-Tactical" WY-SHOT 2022 June 20-22

Tripod seems really stable and easy to acquire target easily. I am waiting on brass to get here this week. Coronavirus has really slowed most shipping times as people deal with it. I hope to shoot it and several others soon. GREAT PICS!! ![]() I've seen it mentioned that the XP 100 and the XR 100 actions lengths are the same? Only difference between them is the ammo feeding differences???

I think the only thing that is the same between the xp-100, xp-100r and the xr-100 is the bolt. Receiver length, action screw spacing and recoil lug are all different. I did some checking and it looks like the xp-100r and the xr-100 actions are the same other than the xp-100r is a repeater. This message has been edited. The xp-100 and 600 and 660 series originally had the dog leg bolt handle and no anti-bind rail cut in the lug. Because of this it is difficult to use one of these older bolts in the newer model 7, 673, xp-100r, xr-100 actions without modifying the dog leg bolt by cutting in an anti-bind rail cut. See the second picture above. Some of the 722 and 721 series as well as a few older Remington 700 actions also did not have this anti-bind rail feature. When converting to center grip triggers I have been keeping the spacing from the action face to the 1/4-28 hold down bolt the same dimension and simply "add" another tapped hole in the actions (see pictures above). The recoil lugs can be modified to house the trigger assemblies easily (see above). Stocks are somewhat of an issue on these conversions, but I build my own.
