I am looking into a 7-08 Ackley improved with a 15 inch barrel what kind of velocitys can I expect with 168 vld or mabey 140 gr bullet Thanks

Thank You I had a blank in 7mm but just ordered a 6mm blank today for 6mm SuperXL 1-8 for 105 or 107s . I may do a 7SAUM with my blank later .In a pistol twist rates are the same as rifle barrels correct ?

I get 2950 with 120gr bt's. What 6mm you going to build? I have a 243ai tight neck reamer.

I studied the 6mm Super XL its a long neck 243 improved ,it will be between 243 and 6 creedmoor. I am going to try it on a MOA for hunterclass if I can get to WY this summer!!
I am planning to shoot 105 berger , 107 Sierra ,or mabey a custom vld .
