I have four planks of black walnut that have been air seasoned for seven years and I am considering turning them XP stocks. I currently do not own a XP that I can use for stock dimensions. If some will oblige me with width, hight, and length of McMillan mid grip and rear grip so can ascertain if the planks are thick enough. Thank you in advance, Pete Peter Resetz

The b.r. stock,s forearm is three inches wide, one and three quarters in. high. At the grip it is five and one half to six inches tall, one and three quarter inch wide. It is twenty one inches long. Wish I was more computer savvy, I could help you more. --------------- love those .41 mags.

Thank you both. The planks of walnut are about 2-1/8” thick which I can plane one side flat. Thanks again. Peter Resetz
