Remington model 7 action for center grip?

I have a few the the surplus model 7 receivers that are not registered as rifles.

I was thinking of building a center grip xp100 type pistol.

Will the xp100 factory trigger linkage work?

Is the stock inlet the same?

Trigger linkage WILL work. Inlet is different. Can add a front hold bolt and make allowance for rear hold bolt. See my post about xp700 where I converted a long action to center grip.
