Barrel Contour for .45 XP

So if you were going to build a XP in .45 say a 45 Raptor or .458X2 and it was going in a McMillian center grip stock what barrel contour would you use? Figure a 15” or 16” barrel. Would like enough weight to help with recoil but not turn into a bench pistol.
