I recently picked up a Lone Eagle in 243. It seems to be accurate, but, it seems to have an extra long chamber. Would it be possible to rechamber to 243AI? Tim ------------------------------ NRA PATRIOT Life Member

Extra long in what dimension? Normally an Ackley chamber is .003-004" shorter than a standard chamber to get a crush fit for fireforming brass. You could probably rechamber to something longer like a 6-284. Aaron

You want to leave the chamber long. Best I can remember, if you get it real tight breech wont open gets jammed. Had one in 30-06 fun gun.
