Any thoughts on mounting a reflex sight on a Daisy 747. Just ordered a Sun optics barrel mount base for the pistol. I have read not to mount regular scopes on a air gun. Wondering if this is true for red dots and reflex optics.

The major concern with scope mounting is on spring piston air guns as they have reverse recoil. It won't be an issue on your daisy. I'd still mount a high quality scope on it or red dot. Wink
